Warn Industries is seeking a Buyer III to manage NPI (New Product Introduction) project launches, implement and manage supplier contracts and optimize sourcing strategies. Additionally, utilizing JD Edwards (JDE) and Power BI, the Buyer III will analyze supply chain risks, manage supplier contracts, issue and manage RFQ's, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a high level of accountability, urgency, analytical thinking, and ownership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
EssentialFunctions
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of purchasing, sourcing, procurement, or related supply chain experience.
- Experience with in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience with ERP systems, MRP processes, and inventory management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
- Experience working with domestic and international suppliers.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Experience utilizing JD Edwards (JDE).
- Experience creating reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or related professional certifications.
- Experience negotiating and managing supplier contracts.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs in a manufacturing environment.
May require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. May require lifting up to 40 pounds without assistance.
