- Chain link, ornamental, and wood fencing
- Security gates, entry control, bollards, and crash barriers
- Perimeter security systems

Clients include major data centers, utilities, school districts, universities, and large general contractors throughout Oregon, Washington, and Northern California.
Position Overview
The Vice President of Sales & Estimating is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales leadership, accurate estimating, and strong client relationships. This role partners closely with ownership and senior leadership to win work, improve bid quality, develop talent, and position the company for long-term growth.
You will lead estimating efforts, support business development, mentor estimators and sales staff, and serve as a key face of the organization with customers, general contractors, and public-sector clients.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow commercial, industrial, and public-sector sales efforts
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, and end users
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic accounts
- Support proposal strategy, client presentations, and contract negotiations
- Lead and review estimates for complex fencing and perimeter security projects
- Ensure pricing accuracy, risk assessment, and margin discipline
- Establish estimating best practices, templates, and consistency
- Partner with leadership on major pursuits and awarded work
- Train, mentor, and develop estimators and sales staff
- Establish clear expectations, processes, and accountability
- Improve collaboration between sales, estimating, and operations
- Build bench strength for long-term organizational growth
- Serve as a senior representative of the company in the market
- Strengthen customer relationships through responsiveness and credibility
- Ensure proposals and communication reflect professionalism and quality
- Support annual revenue planning and growth initiatives
- Improve forecasting accuracy and bid-to-win ratios
- Contribute to long-term leadership succession and company strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership experience in commercial fencing and perimeter security.
- 7+ years of sales & estimating experience on large or complex commercial/public projects
- Thorough understanding of associated materials, including metallurgy, technical specifications, suppliers, and installation practices
- Proven success in sales leadership, estimating, or preconstruction roles
- Strong understanding of fencing standards, specifications, and codes and compliance
- Experience working with general contractors and government entities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;
Bluebeam or Procore experience is a plus - Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
- Acceptable motor vehicle record & background check
- AFA, CFP, or related industry credentials valued but not required
- Salary: $120,000–$130,000 (up to $160,000 for highly qualified candidates)
- Relocation reimbursement up to $12,000
