Responsibilities
- Oversee annual budget development for the Library department and the independent Multnomah County Library District.
- Supervise Library Business Services and Library Facilities Management Staff.
- Act as the primary liaison to the County Budget Office and County Finance leadership team.
- Provide guidance and support to the Project Management Office in the overall implementation of the Library capital bond program.
- Maintain oversight of internal service methodologies and practices as they pertain to Library facility operations.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, public administration, or a field related to finance or accounting.
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in public sector financial management, including direct responsibility for leading budget development and financial operations.
- Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal records check, should a job offer be extended.
