My client is currently seeking a Project Manager for their solar/BESS site in Arlington, Oregon. This will be an 8-month contract assignment to start with potential to extend.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years experience in project management, construction management or engineering or a related field; utility transmission, distribution, or generation experience highly preferred.
- Experience in utility scale solar and/or BESS projects.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including effective negotiating and dispute resolution skills.
- PMP certification from a recognize institution and strong knowledge of the principles and practices of project management.
- Proficiency using tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or other Enterprise Management System
- Ability to travel 50%.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
- Driver's License
- A working Knowledge of safety laws, environmental laws, labor laws, construction law, contracts, claims avoidance, insurance, and permit compliance.
- Effective negotiating and dispute resolution skills.
- Experience in Front End Loading (FEL or FEED) Gated processes.
- Renewable industry experience and best practices.
- Experience with risk management.
- OSHA certification
- Proficiency using Primavera P6 and SAP.
- Coaching and Mentoring experience
