Job Description
Join a family-owned fabrication and machine shop located in Clackamas as a lathe machinist. We are seeking an individual with specific CNC Mill setup experience and some G code editing knowledge. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced production environment and able to work independently on a variety of CNC Mills. Intermediate experience with CAD/CAM Software is required.
ResponsibilitiesSet up CNC Mills
Program Machines
Inspect parts and components
CNC Mill Setup experience
Intermediate programming experience
Ability to read blueprints
Troubleshooting skills
Experience with lathe setup
Prior CNC Machining Experience in a job shop environment preferred
Ability to operate and inspect parts effectively

Work EnvironmentWork in a smaller shop environment with less than 50 people. Enjoy a casual dress code with work boots required. The job shop requires flexibility to adapt to various work tasks and responsibilities. The position is a day shift role from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 – $42.00/hr.
