Job Description

Join a family-owned fabrication and machine shop located in Clackamas as a lathe machinist. We are seeking an individual with specific CNC Mill setup experience and some G code editing knowledge. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced production environment and able to work independently on a variety of CNC Mills. Intermediate experience with CAD/CAM Software is required.

• Set up CNC Mills

• Program Machines

• Inspect parts and components

• CNC Mill Setup experience

• Intermediate programming experience

• Ability to read blueprints

• Troubleshooting skills

• Experience with lathe setup

• Prior CNC Machining Experience in a job shop environment preferred

• Ability to operate and inspect parts effectively

Work in a smaller shop environment with less than 50 people. Enjoy a casual dress code with work boots required. The job shop requires flexibility to adapt to various work tasks and responsibilities. The position is a day shift role from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $42.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Clackamas, OR.
