Experienced Offshore Combo Fitters – Full-Time Gulf Fabrication – Harvey, LA
Gulf Island is hiring experienced combo fitters for offshore construction projects in the Gulf of America. This role involves blueprint reading, pipe layout, cutting, and structural fitting of decks, heliports, and more. It’s an ideal role for expert fitters with strong offshore fabrication experience and a deep understanding of measurement and welding alignment.

- 5+ years of structural and/or pipe fitting experience
- Ability to pass written and practical fitter test
- Valid TWIC card
- Must pass drug screen, physical, and background check
Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Familiarity with offshore fabrication (jackets, decks, heliports)
- Proficiency in torch cutting, fitting calculations, and layout tools
- Strong communication and multitasking in outdoor conditions
