Job Summary

The Welder is responsible for welding, assembling, and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This position required experience with welding techniques, blueprint reading, and working in a manufacturing environment focused on precision and quality.

Pay Range: $22.00/24.00HR (Based on experience)

Essential Duties
  • Perform, MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder assemblies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect welds and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges.
  • Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and fitting components.
  • Assist with assembly, testing, and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety polices and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience welding hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders or similar industrial equipment preferred.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG welding experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of welding procedures, fabrication techniques, and quality inspection methods.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Welding certification is a plus.
