COIL WINDER – Mid-Central Electric

Mid-Central Electric specializes in manufacturing medium-voltage, oil-filled "Fixed Load" transformers ranging from 0.5 KVA to 3.0 KVA. Designed primarily for control power in recloser switches and capacitor banks, they are also suitable for various small loads. Our transformers feature the industry's most compact tanks and lightest weight, ensuring optimal aesthetics and easy installation.

Our Coil Winders are responsible for operating automatic winding machines to produce precision coils for use in medium voltage control power transformers.

Fully onsite – 880 Market St, Oregon, WI 53575

WORK SCHEDULE

Full Time

Monday – Friday: 8am – 4pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time and perform close‑in precision work on small parts.
  • Must be able to work with accuracy and possess effective time management skills.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity in both hands is also required.
  • Wind copper magnet wire of various gauges meeting all production standards.
  • Utilize fine gauge magnet wire to be wrapped side‑by‑side onto lead wire with precision.
  • Work with mechanical counters and make necessary adjustments.
  • Utilize hand tools to trim wire and solder.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing utilizing hand and power tools to create final products
  • Demonstrated dependable performance with consistent schedule adherence.
