Production Supervisor – Bread Production Facility At Albertsons Companies, you will lead a team of production workers, manage daily operations, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role focuses on delivering consistently high‑quality bread products in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• Production Oversight
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all production processes.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Staff Supervision
  • Lead, supervise, and support production associates.
  • Compose and deliver performance evaluations and corrective action notices.
• Quality Control
  • Train, monitor, and enforce quality control standards.
  • Address and rectify issues affecting product quality.
• Inventory Management
  • Track, manage, and audit raw materials and finished goods inventory.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain to optimize stock levels.
• Process Optimization
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose scalable solutions.
  • Implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Safety Compliance
  • Enforce and promote safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety training for production personnel.
• Communication
  • Effectively collaborate with site cross‑functional partners (e.g., quality, logistics, maintenance).
  • Relay information accurately and respectfully to ensure smooth operations.
• Training and Development
  • Train new production employees.
  • Provide ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Problem Resolution
  • Address and resolve production‑related issues promptly.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, etc.).
  • Keep abreast of industry regulations and update procedures accordingly.
• Equipment Maintenance
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules for production equipment.
  • Address equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Documentation
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Generate reports for management on production metrics.

• Two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a production environment.
• One (1) or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership background – ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce.
• Ability to manage and develop employees.
• Strong skills: working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to grasp additional business‑related applications.
