Job Title: Operations Technician I, Finishing

Location: Oregon City, OR

Shift: 2

• Operate auto and manual cleaning and passivation line.
• Operate laser marking equipment.
• Perform product cleaning and visual inspection.
• Perform cleaning operations of castings using various sandblast equipment per tech card.
• Inspect and maintain blast cabinets, media, nozzles and hoses to ensure proper cleaning.
• Use conventional belting equipment for belting operations based on engineering drawings, e.g., Fiber‑wheel finish and/or Satin finish.
• Use air and/or electric handheld tools for grinding, deburring, or detailing confined areas or inside diameters of cylindrical parts.
• Select, align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines.
• Determine proper media based on engineering drawings and work instructions and set machine parameters.
• Complete proper documentation including process routing card, salvage router and scrap forms.
• Transport product safely using hand truck, pallet jack, carts and tables.
• Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
• Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to department Supervisor or Lead.
• Follow safety rules and regulations and support Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives.
• Dimensionally inspect work using appropriate tools (calipers, comparators, pin gauges, measuring instruments, surface plates, etc.).
• Perform weekly housekeeping per 5S schedule.
• Follow work orders to perform operations on various parts and products.
• Reinforce safety expectations and ensure safety operating practices are demonstrated.
• Report issues/concerns to Supervisor and support quality and compliance by adhering to all procedures and forms per the Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Complete all required training.

• High School or equivalent (Preferred).
• No previous work experience required (Preferred).
• Manufacturing experience (Preferred).
