The Oregon City, OR site focuses on investment casting and 3D wax printing, machining, finishing, and coating of orthopedic implants for extremities and large joint markets. The site operates an 80,000 square foot facility with approximately 175 team members and is FDA registered, manufacturing products under ISO 13485:2016. • Perform relief and final finish grinding of castings per technical instructions.
• Operate large belt grinders, fixtures, and other grinding equipment to remove gates, burrs, fins, etc., to tolerances of .005.
• Use measuring instruments such as feeler gauges, dial calipers, and calipers to ensure proper grinding dimensions.
• Complete required documentation including process routing cards and salvage router.
• Assist in training personnel as directed by the department supervisor or lead; complete all required training.
• Safely transport product using hand trucks, pallet jacks, carts, and tables; maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Detect and report faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to the supervisor or lead; follow designated safety rules and regulations.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and EHS initiatives; comply with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and forms.
• Perform dimensional inspection using tools such as calipers, comparators, pin gauges, and surface plates as required.
• Follow work orders for operations on various parts and products and reinforce safety expectations.
• Maintain compliance with safety practices and quality standards; report issues to supervision as needed.

• High School or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and process routing cards.
• Experience with precision grinding, measurement tools, and 5S housekeeping is a plus.
