Inventory Lead

• Compensation: $25.00 - $30.15 per hour, paid biweekly

Position Summary: The Inventory Lead is responsible for accurate documentation and tracking of all product inventory using state-mandated systems (METRC, or equivalent) and internal tracking systems. They manage inventory before and after packaging, testing, and sales fulfillment, facilitate sales transactions, and train and coach Inventory Specialists.

• Assist in inventory control based on company standards and state regulations.
• Document and enter all inventory from production kitchen into METRC or other state-specific tracking system.
• Label all inventory clearly.
• Perform daily audits of physical inventory.
• Log all transfers from inventory items into finished packaged sellable units.
• Collaborate with Inventory Supervisor or Manager on inventory levels and packaging planning.
• Fulfill orders, complete manifest documentation, facilitate intake and outtake of product with sales representatives.
• Receive, stage, and coordinate raw material flow throughout the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized inventory vault and ensure a safe working environment.
• Schedule batch testing pickups and receive test results for uploading to production server.
• Communicate information and respond to questions/suggestions from various levels within the company.
• Report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory.
• Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality of product.
• Participate in training Inventory employees and assist with planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Address complaints and resolve problems.
• Perform other duties as required.

• 1 year of related experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic verbal and written instruction following.
• Effective English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to obtain all state-required permits, licenses and certifications.
• Serv Safe Food Handler’s Card preferred.
• Occasional travel between buildings/sites required.
• Eligible to accept employment if 21 years of age or older (state regulations).
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification if required.
• Submittal to background check required.

Competitive hourly rate of $25.00‑$30.15 per hour, paid biweekly.
