Upholstery Production Specialist

Position Summary

This position is responsible for shop production, ordering shop supplies and materials, shipping and receiving products, product quality control, documentation, tool control, and tool usage. This position will require knowledge of the many variations of chairs and their attributes, including fabrics used in the upholstery furniture business. This position will use computers and multiple software programs for production, quality control, order management, and inventory information.

This position will have responsibility for directing and training skilled and semi-skilled Person in Our Care employees in an industrial furniture manufacturing industry and maintaining adherence to institution rules and policies.

This position is in pay schedule and range 03-14 with a starting pay of $28.11 per hour
. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period of one year is required.

Shift: Monday
- Friday 6:30am- 3:00pm

• Valid State of Wisconsin Driver’s License.

• Performing production work in a manufacturing and/or production facility.
• Utilizing computer applications such as ERP/MRP software and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Leading and/or overseeing the work of others (e.g. training, coaching, mentoring, assigning duties, reviewing work, etc.)
