Location:

Clackamas, OR Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE

Schedule:

Full-Time, Day Shift (Overtime Available)

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder & Fabricator to join our team in Clackamas. This role offers a mix of fabrication, welding, shop support, and occasional field work for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality results. We're looking for a team player with a strong work ethic who is willing to do whatever the job requires.

What

You'll Do:
  • Perform MIG welding on both structural steel and pipe.
  • Fabricate assemblies that are square, level, and plumb.
  • Read and accurately use a tape measure.
  • Operate fabrication equipment including:
    Horizontal Band Saw Hydraulic Shear Press Brake Pipe Threader Oxy/Acetylene Torch Plasma Cutter.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely.
  • Use hand and power tools including grinders, clamps, hammers, pry bars, and other shop equipment.
  • Perform mechanical assembly and fabrication tasks.
  • Work with ceramic fiber insulation and insulating castable materials.
  • Use a cement mixer to prepare and pour insulating castables.
  • Clean and prepare metal surfaces using lacquer thinner prior to painting.
  • Paint finished products as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Assist with shop cleanup and organization.
  • Perform field work and travel when needed.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.

  • Experience MIG welding structural steel and pipe.

  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
  • Dependable attendance and reliability.
Preferred:
  • Previous fabrication shop experience.
  • Experience with pipe threading.
  • Experience working with industrial insulation products.
  • Experience with painting and finishing fabricated products.
  • Additional welding certifications are a plus.
