Key Responsibilities- Analyze and evaluate manufacturing processes to improve product quality, efficiency, and profitability.
- Develop and maintain continuous improvement programs focused on optimizing plant layout, equipment utilization, and workforce effectiveness.
- Identify and recommend capital investments, including equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures; support implementation of approved initiatives.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing data to support production and inventory control systems, including work centers, routings, standards, lead times, and capacity planning metrics.
- Review customer contract quality requirements and ensure compliance with applicable standards; assist in the development of quality procedures as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align manufacturing processes, industrial engineering practices, and quality systems.
- Develop CNC programs for a variety of machines using both manual programming methods and software-based programming and nesting tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated process improvement and analysis capabilities.
- Knowledge of production systems, capacity planning, and manufacturing data management.
- Experience with CNC programming (manual and software-based) required.
- Familiarity with quality systems and customer-driven quality requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
