A nonprofit organization in Oregon is seeking a Peer Support Specialist to provide support and advocacy for Veterans recovering from mental health and substance use challenges. Responsibilities include coaching Veterans on coping skills, facilitating peer support groups, and engaging in community outreach. Candidates should have experience working with Veterans, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. This is a temporary position requiring 30 hours per week from January 2026 to June 2027.
