Confluence Environmental Center – Ameri Corps Volunteer
OverviewJoin Confluence Environmental Center’s Ameri Corps program to create greater access to healthy foods, green spaces, clean waterways, outdoor experiences, energy efficient homes and transportation in the Portland, OR area.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Confluence Ameri Corps Volunteer, you will address critical environmental needs in low-income communities through habitat restoration, conservation, community engagement, watershed health, education, volunteer coordination, land stewardship, community gardening and more. Volunteers spend 80% of their time with a community partner and 20% with Confluence, participating in training and development. Monthly team meetings and biannual National Service Day events are part of the role.
