What You'll Do
What You'll Do- Assist with residential construction from site preparation through finish work.
- Learn sustainable, net-zero-ready building practices.
- Lead and support volunteers on active construction sites.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- Provide volunteer orientations and safety briefings.
- Organize tools, materials, and job sites.
- Support community events, volunteer recruitment, and Habitat outreach.
- Grow as a leader while serving your community.
- No previous construction experience is required, although construction experience is a plus. We provide training, mentorship, and opportunities to build your skills throughout your service term.
Ameri Corps Benefits
Ameri Corps Benefits- Living allowance: $20,400 over approximately 10.5 months
- Segal Ameri Corps Education Award: $7,395 upon successful completion of service, which can be used toward qualified student loans or future education
