Job Overview

Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) & Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator Registered Nurse (RN) – Providence St. Vincent Medical Center (Full‑Time, Day Shift, Monday to Friday 07:00–15:30).

• Provide clinical oversight and nursing education for patients requiring MCS and ECMO.
• Develop, deliver, and manage initial and ongoing education related to MCS devices and ECMO for nurses and specialists.
• Execute QI program management activities, including administration, continuous process improvement, and driving clinical quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct competency management and tracking, and analyze data to monitor program performance.
• Monitor safety events related to ECMO, identify trends, and tailor education needs accordingly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required upon hire.
• Oregon Registered Nurse License.
• Minimum of 3 years acute critical care experience working with a patient population similar to that of the department.
