The Nurse Manager of Women’s Services will oversee daily operations for the Family Birth Center, including Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, Obstetrics, and Women’s Services areas within a busy Level II Special Care Nursery. This evening shift leadership role offers varied hours and an exciting opportunity to influence both daily operations and long-term departmental strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Mentor and evaluate staff.
- Improve workflows and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support patient safety initiatives.
- Oversee staffing and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and service excellence.
- Manage budgeting and staffing oversight.
- Plan operational strategy and pursue continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Prior leadership exposure, including charge nurse experience, is highly encouraged.
- Experience working within a busy level II special care nursery is desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work evening shift hours.
