Position: Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - New Grad Opportunity with Extensive Training Progr

Overview

The Provider is responsible for delivering high quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider must work in a team-oriented environment, adapt to new technologies and protocols, and respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition. Outstanding patient service is required within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth and meet patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient care as determined.
  • Lead clinic staff, including X‑ray technologists, nurses, and front‑office specialists, to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Perform duties included in the SCRIBE job description.
  • Assess and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
  • Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure quality professional services.
  • Engage with clinical leadership and elevate to management when appropriate to resolve concerns and maintain company values.
  • Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate on a daily basis.
  • Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians.
  • Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
  • Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliable information.
  • Ensure activities comply with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA and health information management issues.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings.
  • Prioritize and pursue a queue of telehealth patients to ensure proper follow‑up.
  • Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests and responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on ongoing treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
  • Perform responsibilities within standard NP/PA protocols.
  • Complete all mandatory compliance training and meet continued quality of care standards.

  • Recommend ideas to improve overall patient experience and care at clinic and telehealth leadership.
  • Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
  • Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and an overview of clinic processes.
  • Assist new employees with learning activities and required training.
  • Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities.
  • Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
  • Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
  • Perform duties within the physical, sensory, cognitive, and environmental functions specified by the position’s physical demands.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards of operation and maintain a respectful culture with confidentiality.

  • PRN employees are required to work a minimum of four shifts per month.
  • Full‑time employees must work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend.
  • Additional responsibilities for ancillary providers include on‑call duties periodically throughout the year.
Experience Requirements and Preferences
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) and/or master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MMS).
  • At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER or trauma unit, or family medical practice is strongly preferred.
Current License or Certification
  • License and DEA must be active, in good standing, and verifiable with the proper regulatory agency.
