Job Title: Nurse Manager I – Hospital (Cath Lab)

Location: Happy Valley, OR 97015

Work Model: Onsite

Position Type: Full-Time

The Nurse Manager I – Hospital (Cath Lab) is responsible for managing clinical operations and patient care delivery within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) in a 24/7 hospital environment.

This role provides leadership for nursing staff, ensures high standards of patient safety and quality care, and oversees operational processes including staffing, resource allocation, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.

The Nurse Manager collaborates closely with physicians, multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and hospital leadership to ensure the efficient delivery of cardiovascular services while maintaining compliance with the Nursing Practice Act, The Joint Commission (TJC), and federal and state healthcare regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in patient care delivery
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in business operations, clinical healthcare, or related field
  • Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience (with or without direct reports)
  • Active Registered Nurse License – Oregon (required at hire)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – required at hire

Required Skills

  • Cath Lab (Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory) clinical experience
  • Clinical operations leadership
  • Quality improvement and regulatory compliance

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification – American Heart Association
  • Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in a related practice area
  • Experience managing cardiovascular or interventional cardiology services
