Job Summary

Provides comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, utilizing clinical judgment to diagnose and treat human responses to health problems. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as coordinating activities across disciplines.

Provides comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, utilizing clinical judgment to diagnose and treat human responses to health problems. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as coordinating activities across disciplines.

• Assessment:
  Performs thorough multi-system assessments, identifies deviations, and reassesses patients throughout care.
• Planning:
  Develops individualized care plans, coordinates discharge and patient education, delegates tasks appropriately, and prioritizes care based on patient acuity.
• Implementation:
  Executes protocols, administers medications accurately, performs procedures correctly, documents care, and addresses emergency situations.
• Evaluation:
  Assesses effectiveness of care, patient responses, and participates in quality assurance activities.

• Minimum nine months RN experience, with one year ED experience or completion of a corresponding internship.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; valid RN license in the practicing state.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, Pediatric Life Support or Pediatric Nursing Course within six months.
• Computer skills and additional certifications like CEN or TNCC are preferred.
• Additional qualities include strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to patient care.
