Emergency Room RN Evenings

About This Role

The Emergency Room RN at Kaiser Permanente is responsible for assessing, planning, directing, providing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the emergency department. This role is ideal for experienced RNs who excel in a fast-paced environment and are skilled in clinical judgment.

• Pay: $53 - $79/hour
• Location: Clackamas, OR
• Facility: Kaiser Permanente
• Schedule: Full Time, Evening shift

• Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, education needs, and discharge planning needs.
• Identify deviations from normal on routine lab diagnostic tests and reassess patients throughout hospitalization.
• Develop an individual nursing plan of care sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient.
• Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other hospital and clinic departments and community agencies.
• Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for the management of medical and/or surgical patients.
• Correctly carry out the physician's plan of care and accurately document in the EMR.
• Utilize a multidisciplinary approach when appropriate and perform all necessary procedures correctly.
• Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patients' responses to treatment.
• Participate in unit quality assurance activities.

• Associate's Degree (ADN) required

• Experienced RN

• Current RN License in Oregon
