RN - IV Therapy​/Vascular Access; KSMC​/OnCall

About This Role

The RN - IV Therapy / Vascular Access role involves using clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat health problems while collaborating with the healthcare team. This position is ideal for experienced nurses who are skilled in assessing, planning, and providing nursing care.

• Pay: $53 - $79/hour
• Location: Clackamas, OR
• Facility: Kaiser Permanente
• Schedule: Full Time

• Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
• Identify deviations from normal on routine lab diagnostic tests and reassess patients throughout hospitalization.
• Develop an individual nursing plan of care sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient.
• Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other departments and community agencies.
• Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for managing medical and/or surgical patients.
• Correctly carry out the physician's plan of care and accurately document in the EMR.
• Utilize a multidisciplinary approach when appropriate and perform all necessary procedures correctly.
• Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patients' responses to treatment.
• Participate in unit quality assurance activities.

• Education: Associate's Degree (ADN) required
• Experience: Experienced level required
