Park Ranger ; Beverly State Park

Position: Park Ranger 2 (Beverly Beach State Park)
Four years of
** visitor services experience** (e.g. rule enforcement; interpretation such as education and environmental awareness programs; special events and activities; etc.)
** AND/OR*
* ** maintenance experience** (e.g., construction trades, landscaping)
** Bachelor's degree
** in Park and Recreation Administration or Natural Resource Management or Environmental Studies
** A
* *** ND 1 year of*
* ** visitor services experience** (e.g., rule enforcement; interpretation such as education and environmental awareness programs; special events and activities; etc.)
** AND/OR*
* ** maintenance experience** (e.g., construction trades, landscaping)
** Associate's degree
** in Park and Recreation Administration or Natural Resource Management or Environmental Studies
** AND 2.5 years*
* ** of visitor services experience** (e.g., rule enforcement; interpretation such as education and environmental awareness programs; special events and activities; etc.)
** AND/OR*
* ** maintenance experience** (e.g., construction trades, landscaping).
* Three or more years of work experience maintaining facilities, grounds, and utility systems.
* Experience performing plumbing, carpentry, and small equipment repair, including the safe and effective use of hand and motorized tools for maintenance and construction tasks.
* Skill in crew leadership.
* Knowledge of rule advisory and enforcement in a recreational setting.
* Knowledge in diagnosing maintenance and operation problems, breakdowns, and disruptions, and in initiating and carrying out solutions.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills with diverse staff and user groups.
