We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper / Property Porter to help maintain the cleanliness, curb appeal, and overall condition of our apartment community. This position plays a key role in keeping the property safe, clean, and attractive for residents and guests.
If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in maintaining a great looking property, and are comfortable driving a truck and trailer, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain cleanliness of the property, including parking lots, sidewalks, breezeways, stairwells, and common areas
- Perform daily trash pickup and debris removal throughout the community
- Keep dumpster and trash areas clean and organized
- Assist with hauling materials, trash, and landscaping debris using a truck and trailer
- Perform routine landscape maintenance including:
Mowing, edging, and trimming - Blowing off sidewalks, patios, and parking areas
- Weed control and bed maintenance
- Planting flowers, shrubs, and seasonal landscaping improvements
- Mulching, raking, and general grounds beautification
- Watering landscaping as needed
- Assist maintenance team with light tasks and general support as needed
- Report any safety hazards, damages, or repair needs to management or maintenance staff promptly
- Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, porter, or property maintenance experience required
- Must have an excellent driving record and valid driver's license
- Must be comfortable driving a truck and pulling a trailer
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
