QMS Auditor – ISO
9001 Lead Auditor

Position: QMS Audit

Location:

Clackamas, OR

Duration: 2 months

Frequency: approx 16 hrs per week

Metalworking and Metal Raw Materials experience is a plus.

• Perform examination of the Quality Management System (QMS) and its various elements and procedures to ensure its effectiveness, including observing evidence of continuous improvement.
• Perform audits based on the latest ISO
  9000, AS9100, or AS9003 standard.
• Identify major findings, minor findings, and observations, and report information directly to the customer via web application.
• Initiate, review, and approve corrective action responses and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.

• Successful completion of at least five external audits in the past year to the ISO
  9001 or AS9100 standard.
• Completion of a QMS auditor training course with a recognized lead auditor certification (RAB or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor).
• Knowledge and experience using structured Root Cause Analysis tools and techniques such as 8D, five whys, and DMAIC.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel.
