Our client, a leader in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a Machine Shop Inspector III to join their team. As a Machine Shop Inspector III, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting production and inspection teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong technical expertise, and excellent problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift: Day Shift, Monday-Thursday: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Friday:
Overtime as needed

What's the Job?
  • Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of parts, assemblies, components, and raw materials.
  • Document and communicate inspection results accurately and effectively.
  • Prepare First Article, First Part, and In-Process Inspection Reports using precision measuring instruments, gauges, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Review customer drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria to determine appropriate inspection methods and identify potential discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to prevent nonconforming products and improve production processes.
What's Needed?
  • Extensive knowledge of inspection methodologies, metrology, and precision measurement equipment.
  • Strong understanding of machining operations and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
