Oakbrook Corporation is seeking a motivated Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of one of our residential communities in the Madison area. In this role, you will help ensure a positive living experience for residents by assisting with leasing, maintenance coordination, resident relations, and property oversight. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with leasing, marketing initiatives, and property tours
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor scheduling
  • Complete regular property inspections to ensure appearance and safety standards
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting (traffic, marketing, market studies)
  • Support rent collection, lease administration, and file management
  • Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager to support day‑to‑day operations
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in property management, leasing, sales, or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to perform regular property inspections (with or without accommodations)
  • Computer proficiency
  • A positive, customer‑focused approach with a willingness to learn
