Job Summary
This recruitment will be used to fill one full‑time Laboratory Technician 1 position for the Food Innovation Center at Oregon State University ( OSU ).
This position will be located in Portland, Oregon.
The Food Innovation Center at Oregon State University seeks a Laboratory Technician 1 to provide technical support for laboratory research and applied food product development, with emphasis on supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO₂) processing operations and associated laboratory tasks. Under close supervision, the incumbent will support standardized procedures, sample preparation, equipment operation, data recording, and basic laboratory maintenance to enable high‑quality, reproducible experimental work.
This role supports bench‑to‑market food innovation across interdisciplinary applied projects.
