Stimulus Coffee + Bakery is an artisanal café and bakery located in Pacific City, Oregon. We reside inside the Inn at Cape Kiwanda and are just across the street from Cape Kiwanda State park with fantastic ocean views just outside our front doors. We efficiently provide refreshing, artisanal products with authentic service, in a casual and inspiring atmosphere. We offer stay-in and delivery to the hotel rooms for maximum guest satisfaction.
Locals and visitors alike stop in before their first surf session of the day and in between laps at the nearby swimming pool and we are here waiting with coffee and beach bun in hand.

A day in the life...The Pastry Cook is accountable for working as a team with other Pastry Cooks to produce baked goods and other ready‑to‑go food items on schedule, in order to deliver on guest and department expectations.
Key Accountabilities- Produce baked goods and other ready‑to‑go food items based on par sheets and prep lists that are coordinated with and provided by Pastry Chef and leadership.
- Mix, shape, proof, and bake a variety of baked goods.
- Contribute to ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the quantity and quality of baked goods.
- Achieve the brand, safety, and health standards laid out by the Pastry Chef and Noble House Hotels and resorts.
- Practice Noble House core values and brand standards in everything you do.
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment that is at or beyond health department and company standards.
- Meet guests' expectations by helping keep the Grab and Go case filled and helping baristas ensuring clean dining room experience.
- Provide any feedback or ideas to improve the guest experience, daily operations, or menu options to pastry chef.
- Minimum age requirement for this position is 18 years old.
- Obtain a Food Handlers Card Oregon state approved.
- 1 year combined experience in production bread baking and dessert items, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and work cohesively as part of a team. Skills to work independently, effectively manage own time.
- Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Skills to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written instructions, ingredients and recipes.

Salary: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour Plus tips
