Job Overview

This is a permanent part‑time role. Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer.

• Perform in‑store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.
• Scan display barcodes across entire stores every week, which can take several hours.
• Provide quantity for approximately 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete custom projects as requested by clients, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours per week per store.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver high‑quality data.
• Maintain independence and flexibility in the workplace.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, accessing products across the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Reliable Wi‑Fi access.
• Tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
