Business Development, Sales Representative
The National Fleet Representative supports the National Fleet Manager in achieving sales AOP targets for assigned accounts, including collectible sales, margin, MRT, and retread objectives. This role focuses on meeting sales and supply commitments while promoting a strong culture of safety and wellness. The position works to become a trusted advisor to fleet customers by delivering innovative solutions that improve tire maintenance programs and operating costs.
This opportunity is open for candidates located in the western states of the U.S.
- Utilize business solution tools (e.g., TV Track, mileage projections, RAR reviews, scrap analysis, fleet dashboard) to document Goodyear’s value and audit customer/dealer process compliance.
- Exceed AOP targets for new tire and retread units while contributing to Fleet
HQ Solutions revenue and converting assigned target accounts. - Submit weekly call reports, competitive insights, and other requested updates, while improving collectible sales through optimized product mix.
- Manage Sales Administrative & General expenses and ensure travel delivers measurable ROI through impactful training and presentations.
- Partner with the National Fleet Manager to forecast and communicate new tire and retread demand through effective customer collaboration and planning.
- High School Diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is also acceptable.
- 7+ years of management, sales, or engineering experience with a High School Diploma/GED, or 2+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree.
- Background in the tire or transportation industry is preferred.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, email, and internet-based tools.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a home‑based environment.
- Strong organizational and planning capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the tire or transportation industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of the trucking industry is preferred.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
