Business Development Manager (BDM) represents the Facial Aesthetics product portfolio to targeted aesthetic customers within a designated geographical area. Responsible for creating product acceptance and enhancing portfolio growth through business development activities. The BDM provides technical product and procedure expertise as well as competitive product differentiation. Assigned sales goals are obtained through creative, consultative selling and implementation of the U.S. Sales/Marketing plan.
Responsibilities- Leverage resources to accelerate the adoption and sales growth of the Facial Aesthetics portfolio which includes BOTOX® Cosmetic, JUVEDERM® Collection of fillers, and Kybella® brands.
- Synergistically work and coordinate activities with other Allergan Aesthetics cross portfolio partners and support teams.
- Comply with required reporting, requests, and compliance policies.
- Show the ability to drive sales execution and provide consultative support.
- Plan and execute field activities, traveling four days a week and being available for client visits.
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience required with business to business to consumer (B2B2C) sales experience preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of general marketing principles and concepts within the healthcare environment and the inner workings of a physicians practice.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, proven record of driving sales execution, effective consultative support, and strong problem solving and resolution skillset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written; strong contract and negotiating skills; financial and budgetary experience.
- Ability to travel and be in the field four days a week.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software.
- Field‑based role; candidate should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.

- Compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
The range may be modified in the future. - Eligibility to participate in short‑term incentive programs.
