Sales Executive – Grubhub

The Grubhub Sales Executive role is a great opportunity to leverage your sales skills to make an impact on the company’s rapid growth. You’ll be on the front lines of building Grubhub’s national restaurant partner network, researching and consulting with restaurants, contacting and meeting with decision makers, and showing them how Grubhub can benefit their business.

Responsibilities
  • Discover Grubhub’s next wave of great local restaurants: engage the most wanted restaurants in your territory and help the company identify hidden gems.
  • Act as a market expert: gather restaurant feedback, monitor competitor activity, identify marketing opportunities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Consult with restaurant owners on the benefits of joining Grub Hub and accessing our growing community of diners.
  • Identify client needs, goals, and demonstrate how Grubhub can help grow their business.
  • Conduct extensive cold calling (60+ dials per day), email outreach, and social outreach to prospective decision makers.
  • Manage a territory and own the entire sales pipeline from prospecting to closing.
  • Secure appointments with prospective clients to uncover needs and present partnership value.
  • Travel into the market to conduct in‑person sales pitches with restaurant owners.
  • Exceed high‑volume sales goals while working within a team environment.
Qualifications
  • Fluency in English required;
    Bilingual skills in Spanish or Chinese are a major plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Dynamic personality with a positive attitude and a desire to excel.
  • Competitive team player who thrives in achieving the best results.
  • Coach‑ability – open to new ideas and feedback, constantly looking to improve.
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment for planning and goal achievement.
  • Persuasive track record in a fast‑paced, transactional, quota‑driven role.
  • Unwavering work ethic that goes above and beyond to exceed goals.
  • Results‑motivated mentality.
  • Cold‑calling experience (optional).
  • Ability to run effective in‑person sales presentations (optional).
  • B2B transactional sales experience (optional).
  • Restaurant industry or hospitality experience (optional).
  • CRM experience, preferably with  (optional).
