Overview
Ellsworth Adhesives, a division of Ellsworth Corporation, is a global, industry‑leading distributor, manufacturer, and packager of specialty chemicals and equipment used by the cell phone, medical device, aerospace, and electric vehicle industries. We are looking for an Engineering Sales Representative to drive the sales process within the Oregon, Eastern Washington, and Northern Idaho territories (Portland, OR and Spokane, WA area are ideal).
Candidates must reside within the assigned territory and have reliable access to a personal vehicle for daily use.
The role reports to SCD, an Ellsworth Corporation company, and collaborates with customers’ engineering teams to specify, qualify, and develop manufacturing processes for specialty chemical solutions.
Responsibilities- Determine and present engineered solutions for customer applications and coordinate application testing with the customer.
- Establish professional relationships with customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other key stakeholders).
- Partner with internal departments, customers, and vendors to ensure customers’ needs are met.
- Participate in periodic meetings to maintain technical knowledge of specialty chemical solutions and effectively use technology to manage the territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and grow sales within the assigned territory.

Qualifications- 3+ years of industrial B2B sales experience; experience in the specialty chemical market preferred.
- Bachelor of Science degree required, preferably in a technical or business‑related field.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and reliable access to a personal vehicle for daily use throughout the territory.
- Must maintain current automobile insurance that meets Ellsworth policy requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
