Job Summary
Our Alternate Site Sales team consists of the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Physician Office (PO), and newly formed Life Sciences sales forces. Our primary customer base includes Doctor's Offices, Urgent Care, Dermatology, Community Health, and Women's Health. Our ASC department also services Surgery Centers, Surgical Hospitals, and Endoscopy Centers. Additionally, Life Sciences provides service to customers in the areas of:
Animal Health, Higher Education, Reference Laboratory, Contract Research Organizations, Transplant/Blood and Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM). We make healthcare run better by solving problems quickly, putting customers and employees first and challenging the status quo, finding new ways to grow our business—and one another.
- Grow and develop a territory of residual based medical supplies in the assigned territory.
- Sell disposables, exam gloves, point‑of‑care tests, capital and diagnostics to healthcare personnel including physicians, nursing staff, office managers and purchasing staff.
- Build relationships and develop a customer base of alternate‑site physician offices as well as hospital‑based practices.
- Make new calls daily to develop new customers.
- Work with manufacturers to present products to the physician community.
- Prepare and deliver quotations for product.
- Develop long‑term relationships with customer base.
- Prepare and maintain a territory plan.
- Create and grow a residual base of customers in the alternate‑site marketplace.
- Train and learn new items to present to customers and explain the medical and fiscal benefits.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota‑based sales experience demonstrating a background in cold calling, commissioned, full‑cycle sales experience, or at least 5 years of quota‑based sales experience with the same background.
- Track record of demonstrable sales growth and quota attainment.
- Ability to present multiple product lines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Stable work history.
- Computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to drive a car and travel 90% of each day to interact with healthcare providers on site.
This is a fully commissioned position with additional incentive compensation. The role includes a first‑year guarantee of $100,000 with the potential to earn more and is bonus eligible.
