Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining business connections with customers in the Lake Charles, LA to Beaumont, TX area
• Develops and implements sales plans utilizing Airgas' sales initiatives and guidelines
• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts
• Qualifies and connects with sales leads
• Nurtures customer relationships by developing a thorough understanding of the customer's business
• Prepares sales proposals by quoting pricing, establishing credit terms
• Keeps current with industry insights, current Airgas product mixes and market trends
• Collaborates with internal resources to accomplish success milestones
• Establishes and maintains clear communication with internal departments

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years experience with pumping or industrial gas/equipment
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• Contract negotiations experience
• 4 to 8 years experience with pumping or industrial gas/equipment (Preferred Qualifications)
• Previous experience with contract negotiations (Preferred Qualifications)
• Previous experience with midstream, downstream or other oil and gas companies (Preferred Qualifications)
