Security Guard
- Conduct routine patrols of all hotel areas (public areas, back‑of‑house, accommodation, and perimeter) as per assigned schedule.
- Monitor CCTV screens continuously and report any irregularities immediately.
- Check and secure all access points, doors, and emergency exits.
- Verify colleague and visitor identification before granting access to restricted areas.
- Maintain a visible presence in lobby, entrances, and key operational areas.
- Assist guests with directions, basic inquiries, and support in a courteous and professional manner.
- Record all incidents, observations, and activities in the daily security logbook.
- Perform routine checks on fire safety equipment (fire extinguishers, alarms, emergency lighting).
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergency calls.
- Support crowd control during events, functions, and peak operational hours.
- Coordinate with other departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering) for any security‑related concerns.
- Conduct locker room, cafeteria, and accommodation checks to ensure compliance with hotel policies.
- Ensure proper handling and control of keys, passes, and security equipment.
- Follow handover procedures at the start and end of each shift, ensuring proper communication of ongoing issues.
- Previous experience in a Security, Loss Prevention, or similar role, preferably within a hotel environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety, security, and fire procedures.
- Good communication skills in English;
Arabic is an advantage. - Physically fit and able to stand and patrol for extended periods.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

The hourly pay rate for this role is $18.00.
