Substitute Crossing Guard
The Oregon Police Department is seeking reliable, concerned people who have a desire to contribute to our community’s health and safety by helping ensure that our children are safe while walking to and from school. The personal gratification that you will receive from making a difference in these young people’s lives along with the warm smiles and sincere thanks are fringe benefits which can only be measured by the experience.
Responsibilities- Ensure the safety of children walking to and from school as a substitute crossing guard.
- Perform crossing guard duties during assigned shifts.
- Reliable and concerned individuals with a desire to contribute to community health and safety.
Rate of pay: $14.89 per shift (typically less than one hour).
Application ProcessApplications can be picked up at the Oregon Police Department located at 383 Park Street from Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m.
