Journeyman Service Electrician

What You’ll Do:

The Journeyman Service Electrician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical systems and providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and company-sponsored programs.

• Complete all general electrical in-home service calls
• Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services
• Ask proper lifestyle questions to troubleshoot electrical system malfunctions
• Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and service club agreements
• Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals
• Show yourself as a professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and a well-inventoried truck
• Participate actively in all training exercises and weekly meetings
• Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, summary of findings, and podium reviews

A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required for this position. An Oregon General Journeyman’s license or two‑year residential card is required. Knowledge of local electrical codes. Residential service or installation experience is preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

• 4‑day and weekend schedules available.
• Wages for this position are $50‑$60 an hour, plus bonus incentives. Our electricians average between $60‑$80 per hour in total compensation.
