** Summary
* * This position is responsible for overseeing the inspection, installation, testing, and commissioning of field equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements. The Field Equipment Inspector/Installation Supervisor coordinators daily field activities, supervises installation crews, verifies quality control procedures, and ensures work is completed on schedule. This role requires a high level of mechanical competency and the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve field installation and equipment issues efficiently.
The position involves a significant amount of travel, including the potential for international travel, and requires the ability to safely operate a company addition, the role requires preparing detailed field observation and inspection reports using company-provided templates, including taking photographs in the field and importing them into Word documents to support documentation and reporting requirements. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in basic computer applications.
The ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical documentation is highly advantageous and will support successful execution of installation and inspection activities.
** Job Duties and Responsibilities
*** Supervise and oversee the installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of field equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications, company standards, and safety requirements.
* Coordinate daily field activities with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, client representatives, and team members to support efficient project execution.
* Conduct field inspections to verify equipment installation quality, operational readiness, and adherence to mechanical and technical requirements.
* Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate mechanical or installation deficiencies and assist in developing corrective actions.
* Monitor job progress and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within project scope.
* Prepare detailed field inspection and observation reports using company-provided templates.
* Take photographs and incorporate images into Word documents and other reporting materials to document project status, findings, and deficiencies.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, installations, corrective actions, and project activities.
* Safely operate a company vehicle while traveling to project sites and customer locations.
* Travel extensively to domestic and international project locations as required by project needs.
* Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and field personnel regarding project updates, technical issues, and installation status.
* Review and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment layouts, technical manuals, and project documentation to support installation and inspection activities.
* Ensure compliance with company safety policies, customer requirements, and applicable industry regulations at all job sites.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on installation processes, field challenges, and equipment performance.
* Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively while working at customer and project sites.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
* Read, interpret, and apply information from mechanical drawings, technical documents, and equipment manuals.
* Adapt to changing job site conditions, schedules, and project priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
