Mobile Maintenance Mechanic

Overview

The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic supports operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Performs inspections and repairs to interior and exterior areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting. This role requires on-call availability for after-hours emergencies and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain lighting systems, including bulbs and ballasts.
• Assist the operations team in maintenance and repair of building equipment.
• Perform general interior maintenance (e.g., hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems).
• Execute minor plumbing repairs and complete special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and additional maintenance as assigned.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as needed.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
• On-call for after-hours emergencies and comply with safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain compliance with applicable ordinances, codes, and laws; safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training; document work performance and materials procurement as directed.
• Perform other assigned operational tasks typical of a Maintenance Mechanic role.

• Required:
  
  3+ years of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
• Required:
  
  Valid state driver’s license.
• Preferred:
  Completion of an applicable technical training program.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

• Ability to lift at least 80 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 30 ft and perform frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting.
• Ability to drive long distances within the designated portfolio.

• Estimated compensation range: 50,300.00 – 72,900.00 USD per year.
