Role Description

The Delivery & Installation Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Oregon, WI. This position is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading custom-built pieces to event venues and project sites, ensuring all materials arrive on time and in excellent condition. Day-to-day tasks include assembling, installing, and striking installations according to design specifications, using basic tools and hardware, and following safety procedures.

The specialist will work closely with designers and fabricators to understand project requirements, troubleshoot on-site challenges, and make adjustments for a polished final presentation. This role also involves maintaining vehicles and equipment, communicating professionally with clients and venue staff, and supporting general shop organization when not on deliveries.

Qualifications
  • Strong hands‑on skills in assembly and installation, with the ability to read basic design plans or instructions and use common hand and power tools safely.
  • Experience with delivery, logistics, or driving for work, including safe loading practices, securing materials, and navigating to varied job sites; valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving large or bulky items; comfort working on ladders, in varied weather, and at different event locations.
  • Reliable time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to follow checklists and installation timelines.
  • Professional communication and teamwork skills, including courteous interaction with clients, venue staff, and colleagues, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving on site.
  • Previous experience in events, construction, carpentry, staging, or related fields is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Commitment to safety, respect for diverse coworkers and clients, and a positive, adaptable attitude in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
