Combination Welders at Cascade Natural Gas Corporation are responsible for constructing and maintaining high- and low-pressure vessels, meter and regulator stations, and pipeline or piping systems. This role involves using oxyacetylene, electric welding, and heat fusion methods. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, experienced in pipe fitting and welding, and able to work from construction drawings.

• $54.43 per hour wage

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum six months progressive experience in pipe fitting work
• At least one year of training and experience in welding in the gas or related utility industry
• Ability to work from and complete legible construction drawings
• Familiarity with hazards involved in welding and fusing in the presence of gas vapors
• Completion of Cascade Natural Gas Corporation welding and fusion school course
• Valid first aid card
• Ability to qualify for and acquire commercial driver’s license
• Ability to perform heavy work (e.g., running a compactor and jackhammer)
• Must reside within a 20-mile radius from district office within 90 days of start date
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks

• Maintaining proficiency in oxyacetylene, arc welding, and fusing through qualification tests as required by company policy
