Bilingual Clackamas Housing Specialist II – Impact NW – Clackamas County, OR – Full-Time, 40 hrs/week

Impact NW is a nonprofit working to prevent homelessness because we believe housing is a fundamental human right. We’re looking for a Bilingual Housing Specialist II (Spanish, Russian, or Ukrainian) to join our Clackamas HSRS team providing intensive, community-based case management to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

This position is based primarily at Oregon City View Manor, with work across additional Clackamas County Resident Services sites and potential travel in Multnomah and Washington Counties.

In this role, you will provide trauma-informed, strength-based case management using a Housing First approach, and conduct screening, intake, and assessment for housing services. You will support participants with housing search, landlord communication, and lease-up, and advocate directly with landlords to support housing placement and retention. You will coordinate with healthcare, mental health, employment, and other service providers, and educate participants on public benefits such as Medicaid, SNAP, SSI, and veteran benefits.

You will also maintain accurate, timely documentation in HMIS and funder systems, and participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training.

Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish, Russian, or Ukrainian, with 1-3 years of experience in human services, housing navigation, or case management. A bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field is preferred, though equivalent lived or professional experience will be considered. We’re looking for someone with experience working with individuals facing mental health, substance use, disability, or other barriers to stability, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload independently.

This role also requires a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, reliable personal transportation, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Schedule:

6 months on-site required to build program knowledge and community relationships; hybrid option available after that.
