Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Driver position in Clackamas, OR. Our client is a well-established manufacturing organization that values safety, reliability, and customer service. This role is essential to ensuring timely delivery and pickup of customer goods while supporting internal shipping operations through teamwork and attention to detail.

• Safely, legally, and professionally operate company fleet vehicles for delivery and pickup of customer goods and company materials.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and vehicle inspection reports in compliance with DOT and company requirements.
• Load and unload goods from company vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and internal staff in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ship customer goods according to specified instructions and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate company truck runs with the Shipping Manager.
• Assist the shipping department with processing shipments and receiving goods.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep the interior of company vehicles clean and organized.
• Provide backup coverage for shipping department operations as needed.
• Assist with coordination of fleet vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Promptly report vehicle issues, safety concerns, or delivery problems to supervision.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Valid DOT medical examiner’s certificate.
• Forklift Operator Certification required (certification available through employer if needed).
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate forklifts and overhead lifting devices.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and delivery directions.
• Experience using measuring devices such as tape measures and calipers.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and vendors.
• Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, word processing, and database use.

• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Frequent handling of objects up to 40 lbs.
• Frequent handling of materials over 40 lbs with overhead cranes or other assistive devices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to waist level.
• Ability to work in noisy and dirty industrial environments.
• Regular computer use, including keyboard, mouse, and optical reader.
