Position: Class A Cdl Team Driver - 1Yr Exp Required - Otr - Dry Van - American Turbo

Job Title:

Class A CDL Driver

Pay Range: $65000 - $8000

Pay Range: $7000 - $9000

Pay Range: $10K Sign‑On Bonus - Walmart invests in drivers with higher pay and room to grow.

Pay Range: $85,000 - $92,000+ average annual earnings starting at $85,000 with top earners reaching $92,000+.

Average weekly pay range: $1635 to $1769, Paid weekly.

Average weekly pay range: $250.00 per night.

Average weekly pay range: $10,000.00 sign‑on bonus available.

Shift: 6 and 1 schedule, Day and night shifts available.

Shift: 4:30pm - 3:30am.

Location:

Columbia, MO (2.5‑hour radius). Regional routes operating throughout Utah, Idaho, and Montana. Colleague operated within Utah, Idaho, and Montana. Job located in Columbia, MO and surrounding area.

Contract:

Full‑time, Permanent.

Hours:

11 to 14 hours per workday. Avg workdays of 11 to 14 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maneuver various commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, end‑dumps, flatbeds, and equipment trailers.
  • Transport construction materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and traffic laws.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members regarding delivery schedules, delays, and any issues encountered during transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and promptly report any mechanical issues or damages.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Class

    A)
  • Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CDL Driver, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles in various weather and road conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions and instructions.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must be 21 years old with Class A CDL (for certain positions).
  • Must have at least one year of commercial vehicle driving experience (for certain positions).
  • Must submit to background check.
  • Must pass DOT physical examination including drug screen.
  • Must have 6 months’ recent verifiable tractor‑trailer experience.
  • No DUIs in past 5 years.
  • No more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years.
  • No more than 2 chargeable accidents in the last 3 years.

Legal and compliance:

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Morgan Pavement participates in E‑Verify to confirm employment eligibility.
  • All drivers are subject to random drug and alcohol testing, background checks, and DOT compliance reviews in accordance with FMCSA and DOT standards.
