What's the Role

The Non-CDL Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting products to and from customers and suppliers within the local commuting area. This position includes loading and unloading products, verifying shipments, maintaining delivery documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and transportation regulations. The driver operates light to medium-duty trucks ranging from 12' to 24' with load capacities between 3,100 and 8,000 pounds.

What You'll Own
  • Safely load, transport, and deliver products according to scheduled routes and delivery requirements.
  • Verify product quantities and shipment accuracy before and after delivery.
  • Prepare vehicles for operation through daily inspections, fluid checks, tire inspections, and roadworthiness assessments.
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks to move products, pallets, and bins.
  • Secure loads to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Assist with loading and unloading activities at company and customer locations.
  • Follow established routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely service and cost-efficient transportation operations.
  • Complete preventive vehicle maintenance checks and report repair needs promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety requirements and all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Complete and maintain delivery paperwork, driver logs, timesheets, and shipping documentation.
  • Verify shipping instructions and special delivery requirements.
  • Support warehouse and transportation operations as needed.
  • Build positive relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
  • Communicate transportation issues and delivery exceptions to management promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Class C Driver License.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), with no accidents within the past three years and no DUI within the past five years.
  • Minimum of three years of truck driving experience.
  • Ability to safely operate a 2-axle vehicle with a GVWR of 26,000 lbs. or less or a 3-axle vehicle weighing 6,000 lbs. gross or less.
